How to get a DOCX

In Microsoft Word, save a copy as .docx. For older .doc files, convert to DOCX first. In Google Docs, use File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx). Upload the saved file here.

The PDF reflows your Google Docs or Word document; original page breaks, headers and exact formatting are not preserved. Connect Google to include resolved threads that Google still returns for this document in the comment list.

What your Google Docs or Word archive contains

Export the content around your document's text in one place. After importing a Google Docs link or uploading a Microsoft Word DOCX, ExportMyDocs.com lists the comments, suggested changes, images, tables, links, notes and headings it can find. Choose the rows you want, then prepare a separate PDF and a ZIP of the remaining content. The inventory also offers individual format downloads when you only need a spreadsheet or a PDF. For a spreadsheet-first workflow, use Comments to Excel.

Each selected row includes every format listed beside it. For example, Comments adds CSV, Markdown, JSON and XLSX. Document text adds both Markdown and HTML, with an images folder for embedded media. Table export creates an XLSX workbook with a separate worksheet for each table. Headings includes section titles and word counts.

Example archive

A document containing two tables and an editorial discussion might produce document-with-comments.pdf, comments.csv, comments.md, comments.json, comments.xlsx, tables.xlsx, links.csv, headings.csv, document.md, document.html and images. The original DOCX and manifest.json accompany the selected content. The manifest records selections and filters. Missing content is listed under Not found instead of adding empty downloads to the archive.

Limits of a complete export

Complete refers to the supported content available in the imported file. Version history, assignments and replies specifically attached to suggestions are not reconstructed. The PDF reflows the document and is rendered as images, so it does not provide searchable text. Complex paragraph and table revisions may use the current formatting. Keep the source DOCX when you need to inspect the original structure.

Questions & answers

Which formats are included in the ZIP?

All formats shown for every checked row. The format chips download a single format separately; they do not change the ZIP selection.

Do filters change spreadsheet exports?

Yes. Comment and suggestion lists follow the selected author, date, status or change-type filters. Text exports use accepted text. PDF with comments follows its display options.

Can the archive include resolved comments?

Connect Google to include resolved threads that Google still returns for this document. A local DOCX can only supply comments present in that file.

Why is the ZIP size approximate?

The estimate uses file metadata without building an archive in the background. The PDF is prepared separately, and the uploaded DOCX is excluded. Exact sizes appear beside the prepared downloads.
